Back in Action

After a three-month break, The Forecast is back and ready to rip into the 2005 NRL season. There's been a lot going for the club in the pre-season and I'm sorry that it hasn't been delt with on this little blog. I was out of the country, but from now on it'll be all go!

Travelling into the city today I spotted the Stormers training in 34 degree heat and they looked pretty good. Well, I'm assuming they looked good - I was on a train and not exactly running around with them. For all I know, they could have been terrible. Er...yeah, chances are they were somewhere between really good and quite good, so we'll just end my accurate eye-witness reporting there.

On the way home, I picked up MX and there was something about Danny Williams not taking a drug test for the English Super League. Having just been in England for a while, I can fully understand why Danny might need drugs to get by there. Haha. Hopefully it'll work out OK for the big dude, especially considering London seems to be doing OK early in the season.

Finally, it sucks to be Steve Turner. I hope he gets his chance later in the year and that his body doesn't break any more.
